Today, we’re honored to spotlight Mayra SanJuan, an extraordinary associate whose journey from entry-level beginnings to Branch Manager reflects the very best of what’s possible with perseverance, passion, and professional development.

Mayra was born in a small town in Central Mexico and raised in the vibrant, bustling heart of Mexico City. Though resources were limited, her childhood was filled with love, integrity, and purpose. Her parents, who deeply valued strong principles and prioritized academic success, instilled in her a lasting respect for education, determination, and doing the right thing. These early lessons laid the foundation for her strong work ethic and resilient spirit.

In 2010, while working at a hotel that transitioned its staffing operations to HotelPro, Mayra made a pivotal decision: to stay on with the new team and take a chance on something different. It turned out to be a life-changing step.

She began her HotelPro journey in an entry-level housekeeping role. As an immigrant building a new life in a new country, Mayra had no expectations of career advancement—but someone saw her potential. A HotelPro leader recognized her talent, drive, and character, and encouraged her to pursue more. From that moment, Mayra committed to growth, embracing every learning opportunity and rising to each challenge with confidence and grit.

Over the years, Mayra steadily climbed the ranks, taking on roles such as:

• Room Attendant
• Rooms Inspector
• Supervisor
• Lead Supervisor
• Dispatcher/Coordinator
• Operations Supervisor
• Operations Manager
• Senior Operations Manager

In each position, Mayra stood out, not just for her work ethic, but for her ability to lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and always find solutions. She thrived in dynamic environments, managed complex client relationships, and empowered her teams to succeed.

Her journey wasn’t without its challenges. As a working mother, Mayra has balanced personal milestones, like the birth of her daughter, with the demands of a growing career. She credits the support of HotelPro’s leadership and client partners for helping her navigate tough times and build something lasting.

“The passion I have for what I do is a driving force in my career,” Mayra says. “I believe this company aligns perfectly with my values and professional goals.”

Looking back, Mayra sees more than a job, she sees a career built on resilience, growth, and purpose. She’s honed skills in operations, recruitment, employee relations, and leadership that continue to shape her success.

And now, we’re thrilled to celebrate the next chapter of her journey: Mayra has been promoted to Branch Manager.

This well-earned promotion marks an exciting new milestone. As Branch Manager, Mayra brings all her experience, heart, and hustle to the forefront, leading her team with integrity, strengthening client relationships, and setting a powerful example for others to follow. Her natural leadership and deep understanding of hospitality operations will no doubt shine in this role, as she continues to grow and inspire those around her.
