We’re excited to introduce Mitch Bergeson, one of the newest faces on the HotelPro team. With more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Mitch brings a strong mix of industry knowledge, sales strategy, and a people-first mindset that fits right in with the HotelPro Difference.
A Career Built Around Hospitality
Mitch began his career as an Account Manager at Expedia, supporting hotel partners in New Orleans and Austin. There, he developed a deep understanding of hotel operations and what properties need to stay competitive.
He later joined Poached Jobs, where he gained firsthand experience with the challenges of hospitality staffing. That role deepened his understanding of the hiring and retention struggles properties face, especially in fast-paced markets.
When Mitch discovered HotelPro, he was immediately drawn to the company’s service-first culture and strong reputation. He saw an opportunity to continue his career in hospitality while partnering with hotel teams to solve real-world staffing challenges.

For Mitch, staffing is about more than filling shifts. It’s about helping hotel professionals build teams that operate smoothly and deliver excellent guest experiences. He enjoys listening to each hotel’s unique story and tailoring support to their goals.

Outside the Office
When he’s not working, Mitch enjoys traveling, running, biking, and playing soccer. He’s a Clemson Tigers fan, a live music enthusiast, and spends time sketching and painting. After nearly ten years in Austin, he and his wife recently moved back to their home state of North Carolina.
